District Board Positions Announced!

K-T, I am pleased to announce that the 2020-2021 District Bulletin Editor is Jackson Trotter of Clarksville Academy in Division 15 and the 2020-2021 District Historian is Nate Nelson of Farragut High School in Division 5A! It is of great honor to know I have the opportunity to serve alongside these remarkable individuals. I know they will represent K-T well and complete our district board. Each of them brings something new and different to the district board!
Thank you once again for those of you who applied! I am looking forward to a great Key Club service year! Please remember to check your email, social media, and of course the district website for updates from the district.
Yours Truly,
Lexi Evans

CANCELLED – 2020 DCON
Â
It is with tremendous regret that we announce that the 74th Kentucky-Tennessee District Convention will be cancelled. This is the first time in the district’s history that such a decision has been made, and we share the deep disappointment this will cause for our outstanding members.
Due to the rapidly evolving nature of the COVID-19 outbreak, we have recognized the risk this convention may pose to all parties involved. Several school districts spanning the Kentucky-Tennessee region have terminated out-of-district travel and/or closed schools. Three states in our district have declared states of emergency.
Collectively we recognize that the current level of uncertainty and risk surrounding COVID-19 renders it essential for prudence to be prioritized. The health and safety of our attendees, officers, staff, and family members are paramount.
We want to recognize the profound efforts that each Key Clubber undertook this year in preparation for this event, and the support of your friends, families, and teachers that made your involvement possible.
We hope to offer each attendee a full refund. More information will be shared soon.
No district awards will be given this school year. However, district scholarships will still be judged and gifted.Â
If you were planning on running for District Office, please notify me at ashley@ktkey.org immediately.
Â
Please feel free to direct all inquiries to myself at ashley@ktkey.org, or to our District Administrator at sphillips@ktkey.org.
Â
We wish you nothing but health and safety in the coming weeks.
Yours in gratitude and service,
