Announcement  Regarding Internal Change in the KT District Key Club Adult Committee

Hello everyone,

The Kentucky-Tennessee District Key Club Adult Committee consists of the District Administrator, Assistant Administrator, and Zone Chairs located throughout the K-T District. Every member of this committee is dedicated and committed to serving Key Club and young people. It is a privilege and an honor to serve on this committee and work with the outstanding Key Club members, Faculty Advisors, and Kiwanis Sponsors from all around our great district.

I am writing to inform you of an internal change to the makeup of this committee. 

I am stepping down as district administrator and into a new role on the committee. This is a personal decision I made to allow me to spend more time with family in my retirement. 

I am excited to inform you that Kira Wilburn, a current member of the K-T District Key Club Adult Committee has been appointed as the new Kentucky-Tennessee Key Club District Administrator. This change became effective April 1, 2024. 

Kira is from Ashland, Kentucky, and has worked with Key Club since 2015. She became a member of the K-T District Key Club Adult Committee in 2022.  Kira’s experience as Key Club Kiwanis Advisor, her Key Club District Committee experience, and her administrative skills will ensure a smooth transition and help Kentucky-Tennessee Key Clubs continue to move forward. I look forward to continuing to serve on the committee in my new role. With Kira’s leadership, the dedicated district adults, Kiwanis District support, excellent sponsors and advisors, and most of all the outstanding Key Club members, I am confident that Key Club in the K-T District will grow and reach new levels of success.
